Tips for Candidates

Here’s some advice about your application.

When applying for specific vacancies you should:

  • Be concise
  • Organise your application
  • Detail relevant educational qualifications
  • Be prepared to arrange referee reports commenting on your ability to meet the selection criteria
  • Apply online through Current Vacancies

Please do NOT:

  • Provide excessive information
  • Describe experience that is not relevant to the advertised position
  • Ignore the selection criteria
  • Provide irrelevant information that may distract the selection panel from your job-relevant abilities
  • Make the entire application long and unorganised, covering the same information in many areas
