This chart shows the annual secondary market turnover of Treasury bonds in 2016-17 and 2017-18. Turnover increased to $1.3 trillion in 2017-18, up 24 per cent from 2016-17. Both domestic and international turnover increased, with growth strongest in Europe, the UK and the Americas.
